Bob Levene

Bob’s work explores the culture, languages and rules that are synonymous with recording and communication technologies, using these tools of mediation to play with their conventions. Representation and the notion of ‘truth’ are at the core of her practice.

She performed at The London Musicians Collective 16th Annual Experimental Music Festival and The 7th International Computer Arts Festival, Slovenia. In 2006 she was commissioned to produce new work for a solo show at Cornerhouse, Manchester. Other exhibitions have included Globe Gallery, North Shields, FA Projects London, Peterborough Digital Arts and Captured at the NRLA. Awards include an Arts Council Fellowship in Colima, Mexico and an Artsadmin Mid-Career Bursary.

She was born in 1975 and studied in Hull and Dundee.
